Do you write scifi or fantasy?

(Previously posted on Narrative.org)

If you have not yet been professionally published as defined by the Contest rules:

“The Contest is open only to those who have not professionally published a novel or short novel, or more than one novelette, or more than three short stories, in any medium. Professional publication is deemed to be payment of at least eight cents per word, and at least 5,000 copies, or 5,000 hits.”

And if you write SciFi or Fantasy... you are eligible to participate in the L. Ron Hubbard Writer Contest – which has no entry fee.

Information on this Quarterly Contest is available at: https://www.writersofthefuture.com/enter-writer-contest/

and the details of the rules for writers are at: https://www.writersofthefuture.com/contest-rules-writers/

The current Quarterly Contest closes June 30, 2019 – and entries received after that will be considered for the next Quarterly Contest.  One entry per quarter, and if you win – you are no longer eligible to participate.

“Entries in the Writers of the Future Contest are adjudicated only by professional writers. Prizes of $1000, $750 and $500 are awarded every three months. From the four quarterly 1st Place winners each year, a panel of judges select one story as the grand prize winner. The writer of the grand-prize-winning story receives the L. Ron Hubbard Golden Pen Award and an additional $5000 cash prize.”

Good luck fellow writers!  I entered. Will you?
